Terms of Service
Last updated: July 22, 2026 · Effective: July 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TripStacker, a mobile application operated by Cosmo Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using TripStacker, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use TripStacker. By creating an account you confirm that you are. There is no route for anyone under 18 to use the service, with or without a parent's consent.
2. Your Account
You need an account with a valid email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential, for everything that happens under your account, and for telling us at support@tripstacker.app if you think someone else has gotten in. We can suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
3. What TripStacker Is
TripStacker is a credit card rewards and award travel planning tool. Depending on your plan, it can:
- Track your cards, annual fees, fee dates, earning categories, and sign-up bonus progress.
- Track points balances across loyalty programs and the redemptions you log.
- Hold trip goals and show estimated award pricing against them.
- Answer questions through Roux, our AI assistant.
- Show you one thing worth doing each day, plus a daily brief written against your own wallet.
- Watch statement credits and benefits so they do not lapse unnoticed.
- Alert you to transfer bonuses and program devaluations.
- Keep a running ROI ledger of what it has found for you.
- Teach the mechanics through the learn center and publish the point valuations we use.
TripStacker is an informational and organizational tool. It is not financial advice, and it does not book anything. See section 9.
4. Plans & Billing
4.1 Plans
TripStacker has three plans. Internally they are named free, essentials, and pro. You will see them as:
- Carry-On (free): your wallet with up to 3 cards and program-level points balances that you keep current yourself, 1 trip goal tracked against estimated award prices, 25 Roux messages in your first month and 10 a month after that, up to 3 transfer bonuses visible at a time, the Today page, the learn center, our published valuations, and your ROI ledger visible and counting from day one. The ledger is visible on Carry-On, but the guarantee is not attached to a free plan.
- Business Class ($89 per year): the 10× guarantee in writing, unlimited cards, trip goals and Roux messages, transfer bonus alerts, credit rescue so card credits do not lapse, minimum spend and benefit tracking, annual fee ROI verdicts, the annual fee calendar, retention scripts, devaluation alerts, and a daily brief written for your wallet.
- First Class ($129 per year): everything in Business Class, plus stack plays for combined credit strategies, strategy modes across your whole portfolio, redemption coaching so you avoid bad cash-outs, the sweet spot library with award travel deep dives, and personalized card recommendations that check 5/24 and issuer rules.
Plans are sold as annual subscriptions. Any monthly figure shown in the app is a monthly equivalent, printed for comparison only. It is not a purchasable plan.
4.2 Founding member pricing
While the founding window is open, you can join at founding rates: Business Class $59 per year and First Class $99 per year. The window closes at public launch, and standard rates apply after that. That date is what ends the window, so nothing runs out before it.
4.3 Locked pricing, and what breaks it
A founding rate stays yours for life while your subscription renews without interruption. If it lapses, for any reason, rejoining is at the standard rate. There is no grace period and no rate restoration. We would rather say that plainly here than have you discover it at checkout.
4.4 How payment works
Subscriptions are billed through Stripe, on Stripe's own hosted checkout page, opened in a web browser. TripStacker does not use Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchase. That means Cosmo Solutions LLC is the merchant of record: we handle your billing questions and your refunds directly, and you do not need to go through an app store to get your money back. We never receive or store your card details. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what Stripe receives.
4.5 Renewal and price changes
Subscriptions renew automatically at your own locked rate until you cancel. If we change prices, existing members get at least 30 days' notice before it affects them. You can change plans or update your payment method any time through the Stripe billing portal, reached from the Membership screen in the app.
5. The Guarantee
There are two layers, and they are separate promises.
The promise
If we can't find you 10× your subscription in value, we refund you.
Full refund inside 30 days, no questions. And our real promise: set up your wallet, and if TripStacker doesn't surface at least 10× your subscription in value in your first year, tracked live in your ROI ledger, we'll refund the whole year.
5.1 Layer one: the 30-day window
Ask for a refund within 30 days of your purchase and you get all of it back, no conditions and no questions. This is a refund, not a free trial period. You pay for the year up front, you get the whole product immediately, and we return the full amount if you ask inside 30 days.
5.2 Layer two: the 10× promise
This layer applies to annual plans only. It does not apply to free accounts, and it is not attached to any monthly arrangement. A monthly plan lets you walk away each month. An annual plan does not, so this promise stands in its place.
The target is 10× what you actually paid, not 10× a list price. So $590 at the $59 founding rate, $890 at $89, $990 at the $99 founding rate, and $1,290 at $129.
5.3 The two conditions
These are the only two, and your standing against them is visible in the app all year rather than revealed at the end:
- Your wallet is set up: at least one active card and at least one points balance.
- You were active in at least 6 of your 12 subscription months.
Guarantee eligibility: wallet set up · active in 6 of 12 months. How we count
5.4 How the value is counted
The number in your ledger is qualified surfaced value: a find we put in front of you, that you saw, and that you could actually have acted on at the time. Confirming a find moves it into your personal banked total, but confirming is not required for the guarantee. The counting rules are deliberately conservative:
- A find only counts if you viewed it.
- A find only counts if it was actionable when it was surfaced. A card recommendation you were not eligible for does not count. A transfer bonus in a currency you hold no balance in does not count. A credit rescue needs a real reason the credit was at risk.
- Points are valued at conservative published rates, frozen at the moment the find was surfaced. We never price them at headline valuations.
- Anything that was already true when you set up your wallet counts as zero.
- A credit you already use habitually counts as zero, judged over a two-cycle observation window.
- Saying no to an attribution prompt lowers your confirmed total. It never lowers the guarantee number, because the guarantee is about what we surfaced, not about what you agreed with.
- The counting window is your subscription year, starting no earlier than July 13, 2026, when the ledger went live.
The full counting rules published at tripstacker.app/methodology are part of these Terms and govern how the guarantee is measured.
5.5 Making a claim
The guarantee is claimable in a window that opens 30 days before your subscription anniversary and closes 30 days after it. That is the stretch in which your first year is settled and the ledger for the year is final.
- If the two conditions were not met, there is no claim. Your status was shown to you all year, so this should never be a surprise.
- If you were eligible and your qualified surfaced value came in under the target at month 12, we refund the full year. We do not argue about it.
- If you were eligible and the ledger cleared the target, the guarantee was met.
An approved claim is refunded to your original payment method through Stripe, in cash, for the full amount you paid for the year. It is never a credit, a coupon, or an account balance. Your access continues to the end of the term you already paid for, and the refund does not cancel your subscription. Renewal at your anniversary is the ordinary opt-out auto-renewal, and a refund does not change your founding rate.
Email support@tripstacker.app to make a claim. Both refund layers are handled by us, by hand, through Stripe.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancel any time through the Stripe billing portal, reached from the Membership screen in the app, or by emailing support@tripstacker.app. Your access continues through the end of the period you paid for, and then your account drops to Carry-On. Your ROI ledger stays with your account, frozen and visible. The guarantee ends with your paid year.
Refunds are covered by section 5: the 30-day unconditional window, and the 10× promise on annual plans. Outside those two, we do not routinely refund partial periods, but if you think you were charged in error or something went wrong, write to us and we will look at it properly.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use TripStacker for any unlawful purpose.
- Try to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other people's accounts, or our data.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
- Use bots, scripts, or scrapers against TripStacker or its data.
- Abuse Roux with harmful or deliberately repetitive prompts intended to overwhelm it.
- Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access.
- Interfere with the operation of the service.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
8. AI Features
TripStacker uses Anthropic's Claude for Roux, for ranking card recommendations, and overnight to write your daily brief and insights. By using the product you accept the following.
- AI output is informational and can be wrong. Transfer ratios, promotion windows, award pricing, and card terms change constantly. Verify anything that matters with the airline, hotel, or issuer before acting.
- Your account context is processed by Anthropic. When you message Roux we send your message, a context block about your cards, balances, goals and status, and your last 20 messages in that thread. The overnight services that write your brief send a similar context block without your asking. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, that data is not used to train their models. The full list of what is sent, on all three paths, is in our Privacy Policy.
- Usage limits apply by plan. Carry-On includes 25 Roux messages in your first month and 10 a month after that. Paid plans are unlimited. We may adjust limits with notice.
- You can see where a model is involved. Your daily brief carries an AI label in the app, and our Privacy Policy names every surface a model writes.
- Roux can act inside your account when you ask it to, for example adding a card or logging a redemption. Those actions are yours, and you can undo them the same way you would any other entry.
9. Not Financial Advice
TripStacker is an informational tool. It is not a financial advisor, a credit counselor, a tax advisor, an investment advisor, or any kind of licensed professional service. Nothing in the app is advice, and neither TripStacker nor Cosmo Solutions LLC is a fiduciary. We have no legal duty to act in your financial interest.
This matters because the app makes concrete-sounding recommendations. To be unmistakable about what they are:
- Keep or cancel verdicts, retention scores, and annual fee ROI numbers are suggestions. You alone decide whether to keep, cancel, downgrade, or apply for a card, and you alone carry the consequences.
- Point valuations are our published estimates. We show you the rate we used so you can disagree with it. A valuation is an opinion about worth, not a price anyone will pay you.
- Award pricing is an estimate, not availability. TripStacker does not show live award seat inventory and does not hold live availability data. Estimated prices come from published award charts, program pages, or our own calculations. A seat you can see priced here may not exist on the date you want, or at all.
- Programs change without notice. Airlines, hotels, and issuers devalue charts, close transfer partnerships, alter earning rates, change annual fees, and rewrite benefit terms whenever they like, sometimes without announcement. TripStacker does not control any of that and does not guarantee that anything shown is current.
- Applying for cards has credit consequences. Hard inquiries, average account age, and issuer eligibility rules are real. Check your own situation before you apply. Our 5/24 and issuer rule checks are best effort and are not a substitute for the issuer's decision.
- Retention offers are not guaranteed. Calling your issuer is optional and we cannot promise you will be offered anything.
- Points and rewards can carry tax implications. That is between you and a tax professional.
- No financial outcome is promised by anything in the product, including the ledger. The ledger records what we surfaced. It is not a statement of money you received.
Do not use TripStacker as the sole basis for a financial decision. Consult a qualified professional before making significant ones.
10. No Affiliation With Airlines, Hotels, or Card Issuers
TripStacker and Cosmo Solutions LLC are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in partnership with any airline, hotel group, loyalty program, or credit card issuer. We are an independent tool.
Program names, card names, airline and hotel brands, logos, and other marks referenced in the app or on this site belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify the programs and products you are tracking, which is what they are for. Their appearance in TripStacker implies no relationship, approval, or review by the owner. Program rules, terms, and benefits are set entirely by those companies, and their published terms govern, not ours.
11. Intellectual Property
The content, design, code, and features of TripStacker are owned by Cosmo Solutions LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TripStacker for personal, non-commercial purposes under these Terms. That license does not let you modify, distribute, or build derivative works from any part of it.
12. Your Data
You own the data you enter: your cards, balances, trip goals, notes, and everything else. By using the service you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data for the sole purpose of running TripStacker for you.
You can delete your account and all of its data at any time through Settings → Danger Zone → Delete My Account, or by emailing support@tripstacker.app from your account address. See the Privacy Policy for what is kept, for how long, and what deletion actually removes.
13. Disclaimers
TripStacker is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Specifically, we do not warrant that:
- The service will be available without interruption or error.
- Award pricing, transfer ratios, point valuations, card terms, or fee data are accurate or current. Programs change frequently and there is often a lag before TripStacker reflects a change.
- Roux will be accurate, complete, or up to date in any given answer.
- Using TripStacker will produce any particular financial outcome, saving, or reward.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, Cosmo Solutions LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill, arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use TripStacker.
- Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in its content or calculations.
- Decisions you make based on anything TripStacker or Roux tells you.
- Unauthorized access to your account resulting from your own credential handling.
- Failures of the third-party services we depend on.
Our total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100).
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cosmo Solutions LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of TripStacker, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of anyone else's rights.
16. Termination
You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms or the acceptable use rules, if your account is used for fraud or illegal activity, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue TripStacker, in which case we will give reasonable notice.
On termination your right to use the service ends immediately. If we terminate your account without cause, we refund the unused portion of what you prepaid. Sections 9 through 11 and 13 through 18 survive termination.
17. Dispute Resolution
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
Informal resolution first. Before filing anything formal, contact support@tripstacker.app and give us at least 30 days to sort it out with you.
Arbitration. If that fails, you and Cosmo Solutions LLC agree to resolve claims through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration takes place in the State of Texas or remotely, at your election. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to take part in a class action.
Exceptions. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court for intellectual property violations.
18. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Cosmo Solutions LLC about TripStacker.
- Severability: if any provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- Waiver: not enforcing a right once does not waive it.
- Assignment: you may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours.
- Changes: we may update these Terms. Material changes get email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use TripStacker after that means you accept them.
